First of all thank you for taking the time to visit our site and learn more about SuperSpecialServers.com. As the name suggests we try to offer in the very competitive IT services environment something that can be considered special. Our mission is to offer excellent servers at exceptional prices. How we are able to do this is part of our business model and we would avoid as much as possible to divulge this information to the competition. But what we can confirm to our customers is that the servers and services offered meet at least the standard quality expected of such equipment though they often exceed that. In most cases the servers are custom built on demand and thus are constructed from brand new elements.

As regards the support services we would like to mention that the servers we offer are not managed. This means that they are delivered custom built with whatever software was selected and the custom partitioning requested. From that point onwards support is offered for reboots and of course for any hardware or connectivity related issues. Any additional support is often provided on a best effort basis and as a courtesy to customers. Our providers and we will provide as much support as is reasonably possible at no extra charge but with no obligation to do so, which is often equivalent to what some other providers charge high hourly fees for.

For customers who are 'Newbie's' to dedicated servers we would highly recommend that they purchase a control panel with their server and rent full server management services from a third party provider. The combined cost of a control panel plus a third party management service would probably add no more than $60.00 per month to the server cost and in view of our low prices remains very competitive for a fully managed server with a leading control panel. It is easy to shop around and compare. Further we also encourage our customers to ask as many pre sales questions as they need and to not hesitate with inquiring about even the simplest of matters. We know how important it is to be reassured before accepting to invest time and money into a dedicated server project and firmly believe that the more questions are answered and dealt with in the beginning the more pleasant and durable the eventual sale is.

Renting a dedicated server is in some ways like moving into a new house or location. There is often a large amount of work to be done in the beginning. We are glad to be available at that point and to assist as much as possible with getting our customers settled in the most convenient manner for them. Please inquire about such options as RAID 1 or no RAID and how to best partition the hard drives for optimal usage etc. How much backup space is needed? What the most cost effective configuration would be for different needs such as reselling hosting, VPS accounts, host a single forum or site, intensive database usage etc? Feel free to inquire even if you have no intention to purchase right away.

One final word is that though we do not own our Data Center and are not a big company we do offer to provide our customers as honest and sincere a service as possible. The products and services we propose are real and the prices are also real. There is no special catch and no hidden surprises to our offers except the fact that we operate on low margins and resell for providers with whom we have managed to negotiate preferential terms and conditions. Usage terms are monthly and customers can cancel 10 days before the renewal date provided they send a support ticket with their request. Since these servers are custom ordered and require large setup costs it is burdensome to offer full refund guarantees to customers once the servers have entered the production stream. Nonetheless we are willing to negotiate a pre sales agreement with any customers who feel the need for such a guarantee in a way that can minimize our exposure and their financial risk.
